The Meadowlark
On the fringes of Gornal, this modern pub was built on the site of the old spoil heaps from the surrounding open-cast mining activities that previously lined 'Bagleys Lane' which is now called Dibdale Road.
The pub was built c1990 to serve the newly created Milking Bank housing estate.
On the opposite side of the road, a new tree plantation was created as part of the Black Country Urban Forest project just before the Millennium.
