The 'road' pages explore the motor trade in the district.
During the 1930s, the ownership of motor vehicles became more common
for the more affluent trades people, and so did a small
number of businesses to service these vehicles sprung up.
A couple of these early businesses have survived to the present day, an equal number
slipped into obscurity
These pages deal mainly with motor vehicle trades around Lower Gornal and Gornal Wood,
however, the main road between Dudley and Wolverhampton were perhaps better placed
and a glance at these is included.
