A Random collection of old pictures from around the Dudley area.
St. Luke's Vicarage, Dudley.
St. Luke's Church in Wellington Road was demolished in the 1970's, United Carpets warehouse presently occupies the site.
Is the Vicarage still standing or where is the exact position? Similar buildings still exist in Wellington Road. ~
Public Hall, Netherton.
John Price Postcard, c1905
The 'Netherton Institute' in Northfield Road was built in 1883, a locally listed
building which is currently owned by Dudley MBC.
It was used as a cimema between 1910 and 1939 and after 1945 as the Netherton Arts Centre and for an extended period was the home of local theatre groups. It was closed in 2021 and has an uncertain future. ~
